Things you must do
- Hang out in the Empire Mall - the biggest mall between Minneapolis and
Denver apparently.
- See the actual Sioux River falls
- Go to the Indian Reservation in Minnehaha county near Flandreau and fail to
find any native Americans whatsoever. BUT you can see the cemetery and the
county hall and the school.
- Go over the Big Sioux river and the small Sioux river.
- Eat. Steaks are big in Sioux Falls.
- Drive around - go to Iowa or Minnesota - they are barely an hour away.
I'm sure I've missed much - sorry but I was working :-)

Sioux Falls
- Timber Lodge Steakhouse, 3509 W. 41st Street, SD 57106 (T:+1 605

- Minervas, 301 South Phillips (Downtown), Sioux Falls, SD (T: +1
605 334 0386; F: +1 605 334 9585). This is the main fancy restaurant in
town. It's very pleasant and the food is excellent. Paul Foley is the
General Manager. (July 00)
- TGI Fridays, 4300 Empire Place, Sioux Falls SD 57106-6255 (T:+1
605 361 6684). This is the restaurant of our hotel, its a standard TGI
with good steaks and good service. (July 00)
- Teas Steakhouse, Tea. We didn't actually get to go there but
I understand it serves fantastic steaks. I've also been warned that it has
woodchips on the floor though that sounds like it would give it a bit of
character. :-) (July 00)
